Concierge healthcare has many forms and names but they all have one thing in common. You become a “member” of a practice and in return you get benefits above what a physician can offer otherwise. Benefits can be 24/7 access – including email and cellphone, or no-rush same day appointments, true wellness and chronic health monitoring, VIP physicals with genetic testing, and so on.   

Dr. Nathan + Lifestyle Medicine

Dr. Nathan is a board-certified Internal Medicine and Lifestyle Medicine physician with over 20 years’ experience. Throughout the years, she has provided care to patients in her office, the hospital, nursing homes, assisted living and rehabilitation facilities and at their home.

Recognizing that many  of today’s chronic diseases are closely connected to our lifestyle and food choices, Dr. Nathan began studying Lifestyle Medicine, a specialty that uses evidence-based lifestyle therapeutic approaches to prevent, treat, and often reverse chronic diseases through better nutrition, physical activity, practical exercise, sleep hygiene and reduction of stress and addictions.

Dr. Nathan became one of the first physicians in the country to be board certified in Lifestyle Medicine, and uses its philosophies in her practice of concierge Internal Medicine.

She prefers to treat the root cause, not just the symptoms of a disease, with nutritional education, exercise, and mindfulness while reducing unnecessary medication and prescription drugs.

So that Dr. Nathan may spend unrushed quality time with each patient, to provide this level of  comprehensive care, she limits the number of  patients she sees to about 20% of a traditional  practice and charges an affordable membership fee.

COVID-19 Reminders

1. Wash your hands thoroughly and frequently with soap and water for at least 20 seconds.

5. Take care of your health with a balanced lifestyle – eat a well-balanced diet, rich in vegetables, fruits, lentils and beans, get adequate sleep, decrease mental agitations, be socially connected (to the extent it is safe in the current situation), and be physically active.
